While it’s arguably a prime example of a game that can be considered art, Braid is inarguably a gorgeous and brilliant puzzle platformer that will exercise your mind for hours, even after you’ve put down your controller.

While Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 retains the addictive insanity of its predecessor and gives you more bang for your space-buck, alterations to the series’ simple nature take away from overall satisfaction.

Does this remake of a seminal top-down shooter make us long for the Arcade heyday, or are we screaming mayday as we crash into the Pacific?
